Medicine as a holistic and preventive experience – an example for a preventive and holistic approach to corporate development?

Last December, Barbara and I chose to follow a full programme of Ayurveda-Treatments in Sri Lanka. We had heard a lot of good things about this before, however, we did not really know what to really expect. Honestly, we were a bit sceptic, as always when Humans are confronted to something new and changing. It is in our nature.

What we did experience there exceeded our expectations.

Ayurvedic Medicin is an Indian healing art based on millennia of experience and insights. Its objective– as we understood and experienced it – is to balance the body, mind and spirit of a human being. Ayurveda gives hints how to change health damaging habits, and offers possibilities to achieve this. Therefore, during the treatment, a complex cleaning and purification process is applied. A balanced diet and meditation as well as Yoga exercises support this process. If you want to know more about this, please check out our hotel’s website at Barberyn Beach Weligama Health Resort.

Ayurvedic medicine places emphasis on prevention and the holistic approach. This leads to excellent and positive results that we had the privilege to experience during our stay. Now back at home, we feel them every day in our body, mind and spirit. A true gift.

Prevention and a holistic approach is also the basis for PQ+ consulting, specifically in quality and business excellence projects. Our customers will feel the positive effect of this approach in their increased corporate well-being – performance – in the same way as we experience it now personally through the holistic ayurvedic medicine.

A recommendable, worthwile experience!
