Increasing Productivity in Foundries
For several years now SOLME Deutschland GmbH, PQ+' JV Partner for productivity is running improvement projects in foundries. This is done through our proprietory method of production omptimization through video, called AviX.
On the annual Foundry Convention in Bremen, June 6, we had the opportunity to present our approach and results. There was a huge interest so that an article was published in the leading German foundry magazine, Zeitschrift Giesserei.
The extraordinary results which we could achieve, including productivity increases of up to 40% in foundries, are another proof that it is indeed possible to run competitive production even in high salary countries like Germany. Prerequisite is the constant increase of productivity, always using the most advanced tools like AviX.
