Debut: AviX® Ergo on the Expoprotection in Paris

Solme AB present the latest release of AviX®, including the brand new video based ergonomics module, on the Expoprotection in Paris. Here the press release:
From the 4th to the 7th of November 2008 in Paris-Nord Villepinte, Hall 5, Stand C9, Solme AB from Göteborg, Sweden will present for the first time its innovative suite of video based AviX® applications on the Expoprotection in Paris, France. By using the AviX® software, companies increase their productivity, ergonomics, quality and collaboration.
Exclusivity: the visitors of the "Village de l'Ergonomie" will be the first to see AviX® ERGO, the new release of the proven ergonomics tool. The software analyzes a video taken from a production process. It directly calculates stress and strain on the employee, evaluates the risk for repetitive muscle strains often leading to Musculoskeletal Disorders, and offers possibilities to improve the layout and organization of the workplace.
AviX® ERGO forms an important part of AviX® - The Industrial Office, in addition to the other applications in the AviX® family:
- AviX® Method allows our customers to increase the operating productivity by using an innovative approach to Method- and Time-studies, again, based on a video taken from a production process which is directly evaluated on the computer.
- AviX® Balance helps balancing an entire production line by moving the previously evaluated work contents to the best position on the line – as simple as drag & drop.
- AviX® FMEA increases the quality by looking at the same video with the tools of the proven FMEA methodology.
- Finally, AviX® DFX drives the element of prevention further up the value chain by visually supporting the engineers to include aspects of manufacturability into their designs.
The AviX® suite of applications has been developed in close cooperation with leading Swedish industrial companies over the past decade.
